Happy Friday everyone.  Its time for another "Just for fun" post.   Everyone is welcomed to join in.  We love reading everyones answers, and learning more about our LW family.  Cindy

1.)   How often do you weigh yourself?

2.)  What are your top 3 protein sources?

3.)  Victories/Challenges this week?

4.)   Plans for the weekend?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1.) How often do you weigh yourself?    I weigh myself  3-4 times a week.  I used to be OBSESSESED with my scale during the active loosing stage.  It was bad  lol  I would even weigh myself when I got up in the middle of the night to go pee  lol
2.) What are your top 3 protein sources?   Protein shakes,  turkey burgers,  greek yogurt or hard boiled eggs
3.) Victories/Challenges this week?    Victories,  Ive been doing well with my fluid intake.   Challenges,  Handling other peoples comments as far as my weight loss goes.  I find myself apologizing to people when they question as to me looking too thin.  Im at the point where I dont even want to discuss my weightloss.
4.) Plans for the weekend?   Im happy to say we have a quiet weekend ahead of us.   If the weather cooperates, I think Hubby & I are going to take a ride thru the mountain and enjoy some alone time.
1.)   How often do you weigh yourself?   Rarely  - maybe once or twice a week.   I usually do it at my husbands house on his digital scale which is depressing ... even though I  KNOW my own household analog scale is a liar  I LIKE the little white lie lol ..
thank God at least the numbers stay largely the same  even if I wish they were 10-15 lbs lower .
2.)  What are your top 3 protein sources?   isopure banana  shake  powder
                                                                            probably breast of chicken  fixed different ways
                                                                            fat free  cheese  including almond cheese and tofu cheese
3.)  Victories/Challenges this week?  Not getting too depressed and angry about losing the house .   Not letting my mouth get away with me before Ive truly decided  what I intend to do regarding  my marriage.
4.)   Plans for the weekend?  I guess I have to see my husband as I havent sen him for the last two weekends.  Frankly its a relief  ... and  I'm not looking forward to it at all.
1.)   How often do you weigh yourself? I avoid the scale because with my revision weight loss has been slow and sometimes it gets me down..I try to keep it in perspective.  So probably 2 times a month.
2.)  What are your top 3 protein sources? Bars, Chai Latte (low carb milk), meat or greek yogurt.
3.)  Victories/Challenges this week? I was scared as ___ to get on that scale...but I did it and it had moved since the last time 3 weeks ago.  Thank GOD!   I am horrible with my fluids, and I am starting to fall into that I don't care about food thing----which for me is a good thing...because it helps to show I am in charge and not my food addiction.   I actually came to work today and realized I brought nothing to eat.  I had my fluids and my chai---no food.
4.)   Plans for the weekend? Sunday a Father's Day thing with my husband and sister's family (we don't speak to my father and the man who I considered my father died in September--its going to be a hard day).  Otherwise---hoping to relax.
Have a good weekend all!
 .)   How often do you weigh yourself?
Okay, I confess.....I weigh myself every day. I know I shouldn't but I do. It gives me encouragement to see the numbers go down and encouragement to work harder when I hit a stall.
2.)  What are your top 3 protein sources?
Protein shakes, thin sliced Boar's Head turkey, greek yogurt
3.)  Victories/Challenges this week?
My biggest challenge is to find a job! I need a job for both the money and my mental health. It would be nice to at least get an interview!
4.)   Plans for the weekend?
No big plans for the weekend. I will probably watch the US Open with my son on Sunday. I am still on soft mushy foods, only 8 weeks post op) so we won't be grilling anything or having a big dinner.
1.)   How often do you weigh yourself?  Daily, but I don't let the number rule my life.  :0)
2.)  What are your top 3 protein sources? Protein Powder, Greek Yogurt, Eggs
3.)  Victories/Challenges this week? I was finally able to start exercising again after a month off.  I did a 10 k hike on Monday and doing 11k tonight.  Also started my Billy Blanks ball exercise yesterday, holy hannah am I ever sore today!  It's amazing how quickly you can get out of shape!
4.)   Plans for the weekend? Taking my pooches for walks, poor dogs haven't been for a walk in over a month.  Getting together with some of the peeps from my WLS support group tomorrow on a Patio somewhere if it's nice and have a bite of lunch and a ****tail.  :0)
1.)   How often do you weigh yourself? Usually every other day, sometimes every day. Always first thing in the morning.
2.)  What are your top 3 protein sources? Protein drink, cottage cheese, greek yogurt
3.)  Victories/Challenges this week? Victory is that I am getting in the miles needed for my half marathon next weekend. Ran 10 miles yesterday and it was easy peasy. Challenges are dealing with a too busy work schedule, an employee issue, and the never ending thoughts of "what the heck am I doing with my life"
4.)   Plans for the weekend? Sitting in the airport right now getting ready to board a flight to Sacramento to hang out with some friends for the weekend. We will spend some time in Napa today. I'm really looking forward to the break!!
Happy Friday!!
1. twice a day, BUT --- I weigh every morning and track it in a spreadsheet.  The only weight that actually counts is my weekly average.  I also weigh almost every night before bed just because I want to predict what I will weigh in the morning (my sleep and intake, particularl of water have a big effect on my morning weight, so I'm leaning abou balancing all of those things out).  That weight has no bearing on ANYTHING.
2. shakes, particularly About Time, greek yogurt, and MEAT.
3. victories - I started taking private figuring skating lessons, and it's coming back quicker than I'd hoped.  I took a class to get back into it last summer, but had to stop when I had all the reconstruction done, so I'm thrilled to do it now.  Challenges - after all that work on the ice, the muscle behind the scar near my right knee (thigh lift) is really sore.  Makes walking interesting!
4. Too many plans this weekend - kids want to put a bid in on a house, so we need to take the dads (his and DH are both knowledgeable about mechanics, so if the dads approve, the kids will bid and get a real inspection.  They've already ruled out about 8 houses based on dad knowledge) tonight, then tomorrow our neighbor's daughter is getting married and they're using our house for some of the staging, and Sunday is Father's Day so we're getting together at my brother's house for dinner.  DB has recently decided to do Atkins to lose weight, so I needed to find an Atkins-type dessert he could have.  As a result, I now need to bake an Atkins Phase 1 chocolate cake.  Argggghhhh! LOL!
1.)   How often do you weigh yourself? Every day that I can...and while I don't obsess over it, it is satisfying to see the overall downward trend. I'm more interested in my measurements but those are only done on a monthly time frame.
2.)  What are your top 3 protein sources? Protein Shakes, meat, and yogurt.
3.)  Victories/Challenges this week? Victories: getting my hair cut SHORT and finding some great deals at the thrift store. Challenges: Still getting in enough protein...up to 90 MOST days now but not all.
4.)   Plans for the weekend? IF I am smart, I'll figure out how I want to grill this pork loin I have, otherwise it may be going in the freezer for now. Other than that, not much, just staying home and cool.
1.) How often do you weigh yourself? Truthfully I weigh myself every morning, after I pee but before I drink anything. Gives me a more accurate number. I know I shouldnt but the scale rules my life right now, especially since it has not moved in MONTHS!
2.) What are your top 3 protein sources? protein powders, greek yogurt and pure protein shakes, Just found the shakes and they are AWESOME!
3.) Victories/Challenges this week? Being chosen to represent the VHF on the board of directors! Challenges, completing my late classwork and the blasted scale. Oh added victory, im getting in ALL my protein and fluids daily. I finally fiured it out, only took 10 months
4.) Plans for the weekend? Headed to Richmond for the Annual Meeting for the Virginia Hemophilia Foundation and on Sunday attending the Rascal Flatts Concert in what they call FLATTS FEST!! WOOHOO Sarah Evans will be there. Gonna be AWESOME!
